- Installation tool for generally used UNC Helicoil thread inserts. It can be also used to insert small diameter self-tapping bushes in soft materials (like plastic, wood and light alloys)
In the SE version it is a simple and cost effective tool. It is a threaded spindle to be operated manually using screwdriver handle or a ratchet. Or it can be used with electric screwdriver with precise torque and speed control
The threaded spindle guides the insert to the established depth, limited by the special ring. Tool in SE version has an iron ring nut and not a plastic one, so attention should be paid to the limit switch as excessive torque could damage the receiving material
For repeated and fast installation of wire thread inserts in large quantities we recommend our Universal manual installation tool, equipped with a pre-winding nose or Standard version of electric tool, controlled by a screwdriver with torque control for more automated solutions
Attention, this tool is not suitable for mounting DIN standard thread inserts, only those with a reduced diameter

How to use:
Position the thread insert on the threaded spindle, holding the thread insert and turning clockwise. Center it over the hole previously tapped with the thread insert tap and screw in to insert the insert. The thread is guided into the hole to the established depth, limited by the ring nut. After installation is complete, the drive shaft can be removed with the tang break off tool. If it is necessary to remove the thread insert, this can be done using the extractor
