HSS-TiAlN step drill, designed for fast drilling of progressive-diameter cylindrical holes without changing tools. It is the ideal solution for machining thin materials such as sheet metal, tubes and profiles, where precision and speed make the difference.
Each section of the drill is a step that progressively enlarges the hole. This allows the diameter to be increased step by step using a single tool mounted in the drill, avoiding frequent bit changes and significantly reducing machining time. The next step also refines the previously drilled hole, removing burrs.
In many applications, it allows drilling and countersinking in a single operation, further speeding up the process and ensuring a clean, professional result.
 
FEATURES
Manufactured from high-performance HSS with a TiAlN coating, it offers high surface hardness, improved sliding properties and long service life, even when working with demanding materials, including steel and stainless steel.
For use on metal sheets up to 6 mm thick.

The step height is always 6 mm.
