- Compression limiters are unthreaded inserts for plastic reinforcement, used as reinforcing bushings in plastic housings to increase resistance to the tightening of screws and bolts.
- The CL500 compression limiters are designed for mold-in installation in plastic housings. They have a butted-seam to prevent plastic from entering the inner diameter during the molding process, and a radial groove to ensure retention within the hole.
- They are produced from low carbon steel, zinc plated and have a supplementary coating of trivalent passivation and an organic sealant for corrosion resistance.
- This series has a round profile: parts under 20 mm are supplied with one groove, while parts over 20 mm include two grooves.
- The CL500 series is rated for use with bolts up to ISO Class 8.8 and is available in diameters ranging from M6 and M8. Special lengths and inch sizes can be supplied upon request.
