The die guides are suitable for M 3 - M 12 dies according to DIN 223 (EN 22568) and die holder according to DIN 225 (EN 22568).

The challenge when cutting an external thread is to position the die perpendicular to the bolt. Before inserting the die, the die guide is inserted into the die holder. To ensure the chip transport, when using die guides, make sure that the holes in the guide match the holes in the die. This way the bolt can be guided through the hole and the thread behind it can be cut with the die. With the die guide a straight cutting direction is ensured and the thread flanks are cut exactly. The result is a perfect, right-angled external thread. Our die guides are made entirely of turned steel. They clearly stand out from the zinc die-cast quality of the competitors. Additional holes in the die guides ensure good chip removal.
